We’re excited to introduce two new updates to enhance your streaming experience on SOOP!

 

New Features & Updates

1. Chat Reply & Mention features

  • You can reply to a specific user's chat message during a LIVE stream.

  • You can also search for a user or directly mention them to send a chat message.

  • When a user receives a reply or mention, their nickname will be highlighted, making it easy for them to spot the message.



2. VOD Time Link

  • If you leave a specific timestamp in a VOD comment, a Time Link will be created, allowing playback from that exact moment.

  • While watching a VOD, you can create and share a Time Link at any moment you want. (Web only)

  • On the app, a Time Link button is added to the left side of the comment input field, which allows you to automatically insert the current playback time into your comment.



3.  Adjust the chat window size in Landscape mode.

  • You can drag the chat window in the player to adjust it to your preferred size. (LIVE only)

  • Freely adjust the size of the LIVE chat window around the video as you like!
