We understand that there may be some confusion regarding the different methods of signing up and signing in to your account. This guide is here to clarify how you can access your SOOP account, depending on how you initially signed up. 

 

Summary 

  • SOOP users can sign up using either social login (SNS) or email, but each method is exclusive. 
  • Social login users must continue to use the same social network, and email sign up users must use their email and password to sign in. 
  • SOOP enforces a one account per email policy.

 

Social Login (SNS) Users

If you signed up for SOOP using a social login (SNS), through Google or Apple, it is important to remember that you can only sign in using the same social network. For example, if you registered with Google, you must continue to use Google to sign in to your SOOP account.

 

 

Key Points for Social Login Users:

  • Exclusive Access Method: You cannot use your email and password to sign in if you initially signed up with a social login. Always use the social login method you selected during registration.
  • No Conversion: Currently, SOOP does not support changing your account from a social login to an email sign in. If you wish to use an email sign in, you would need to create a new account using your email.
  • Forgot Your Social Login: If you cannot remember which social network you used to sign up, please reach out to our support team for help.

 

Email Account Users

If you signed up for SOOP using your email, you must use your email address and the password you created during the sign up process to access your account.

 

Key Points for Email Account Users:

  • Exclusive Access Method: You cannot use a social log-in to access your account if you initially registered with your email. Always use your email and password.
  • No Linking: At this time, SOOP does not allow linking a social log-in to an account that was created with an email. You will need to continue using your email information to sign in.
  • Forgot Your Password: If you forget your password, you can reset it by clicking the "Find Password" link on the Email sign in page and following the instructions provided.

 

One Account Per Email Policy

Please note that SOOP allows one account per email policy. If you created an account using your Google email, you cannot create another account through Google social login using the same email address. This policy ensures the security and integrity of your account.
