How to Set Up Nightbot on SOOP

Nightbot is a powerful chatbot that can help automate moderation and engagement in your SOOP chat.

Follow the below steps to integrate Nightbot into your SOOP channel:

1. Visit the Nightbot Website, and click "Add to Chat"

2. Select SOOP from the list of provider

3. Sign In with your SOOP account

4. Select a channel to integrate Nightbot

5. Authorize and grant permissions

After selecting a channel, you will be prompted to grant Nightbot access to your SOOP account.

Allow Nightbot access to manage chat interactions, moderate messages, and configure stream settings on your behalf.

(If you selected the wrong channel, you can go back and change it.)

6. Enable Nightbot in your channel

After granting the permissions, you will be moved to the Nightbot dashboard.

To enable Nightbot in your channel, click the "Join Channel" button at the top right corner.

nce activated, the status will be changed to "Nightbot Online", and you can begin setting up moderation tools.
